Wall Art FAQ | Questions & answers

Below are answers to some frequently asked questions about my Wall Art products. If you have any additional questions, feel free to reach out — I'm always happy to assist.

Is shipping to US and Canada available?

I get asked this question a lot, and while I'd love to say yes, shipping large items from Germany to the US/Canada (and other overseas countries) is quite expensive and often involves import taxes. However, you can still order prints of almost any of my photos through Fine Art America, a US-based print-on-demand provider that handles printing and shipping directly within the US. Most photos on my website have a link to their corresponding page on Fine Art America, but you can also use the search function in my portfolio there to find the images you like. If you can't find a specific photo or would like to order a custom crop, feel free to contact me, and I'll usually arrange it within 24 hours.

Please note, the prices and details listed on this website (such as materials, sizes, manufacturing and delivery times) apply only to products sold directly through my site, produced and shipped from Germany. For US/Canada orders, please refer to the Fine Art America website for pricing and shipping information.

Can you ship to a European country that isn't listed in the shop?

Delivery to other European countries (e.g., Switzerland, the UK) is possible, but due to the complexity of export/import regulations, it is not available through the default selection in the online shop. If you'd like to arrange shipping to a European country not listed, please contact me before placing your order, and I'll be happy to assist you.

Where are Wall Art products manufactured?

Each piece is crafted by our highly experienced partner workshop in Hannover, Germany, using top-quality materials, state-of-the-art printers and meticulous handcrafting. Every item is custom-made to order, there are no mass-produced items in stock.

Where can I find product reviews?

You can read reviews on Trustpilot, where to date, all feedback has been consistently positive with a 5-star rating.

How long are the delivery times?

The ordered Wall Art products will be custom-made for you after your order has been received.

Delivery times (including manufacturing and shipping) within Germany:

  • Fine art print / poster: 4-6 business days
  • Canvas, metal and acrylic glass: 8-12 business days

Delivery times in the rest of Europe are 1-2 business days longer.

* Fine Art Print: rolled and without frame. Muliple prints are shipped together in one package, thus you only have to pay a flat rate shipping price independent of the number of ordered prints.

** Standard: Canvas up to a size of 90 x 90 cm, Metal and Acrylic prints up to a size of 80 x 60 cm (or 60 x 80 cm). Each item is packed and shipped separately, thus the shipping price is applied to each ordered item.

*** Large: Canvas larger than 90 x 90 cm (if at least one side exceeds 90 cm - for example 120 x 80 cm), Metal and Acrylic prints larger than 80 x 60 cm (for example 90 x 60 cm or 70 x 70 cm). Each item is packed and shipped separately, thus the shipping price is applied to each ordered item.

Is free local pickup available?
Free local pickup is available at our partner workshop in Hannover, Germany. As there are no shipping costs involved, I'm pleased to offer a discount on the shop price. Please reach out before placing your order to request your self-pickup discount.

Can I track my shipment?

Depending on the size/weight of the shipment and the destination, the delivery is made by various parcel services and overnight shipping carriers. If the respective delivery service provides a tracking option, you will be informed of the tracking number by email.

I have placed an order, but didn't receive any confirmation or status emails

First of all, please check your spam folder — there's a high chance you will find the missing emails there. But if not and if you didn't receive any emails within 2 business days of placing your order, you are probably behind a (corporate) email filter and my emails can not reach you. In that case please send a message to from an alternative email address or contact me on one of my social media channels (links are at the page bottom). You can also send a message through the contact form and let me know an alternative way of reaching you (e.g. via phone/WhatsApp).

Can I cancel/return my order?

All Wall Art products are manufactured for you only after I have received your order according to your individual specifications (photo, size and material). For these individual products, a right of revocation according to § 312 German BGB (right of revocation and right of return for distance contracts) is excluded.

However, if our workshop has not started producing your order yet, you can cancel it free of charge. In this case, all payments I received from you, including the delivery costs, will be refunded to you immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which I received the notification of your cancellation. The same payment method that you used for the original transaction will be used for this repayment, unless another payment method is agreed.

Can I claim defective goods and/or transport damage?

Of course, you can claim defective goods and damage caused by transport. Contact me via email or the contact form.

If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report the damage to the deliverer as soon as possible and contact me immediately. The omission of a complaint or contact has no consequences for your legal claims and their enforcement, in particular your warranty rights. However, they help me to be able to assert my own claims against the carrier or the transport insurance.
